Andoni Garcia is a model from Spain and was in Cape Town on stay for his agency 20 Management. I was in Cape Town on holiday and asked around to see if there was anyone who had an interesting swimming pool I could use for a shoot.
I was introduced to Chris and his extraordinary home with a pool that seems to hang over the Atlantic Ocean. And that’s how these photos came about.
They were shot for Andoni’s agency and have mostly been hidden away on a hard drive since 2016 when they were taken.
My favourite thing is that there’s an actual ship in the sea in some of the photos, can you spot it? Extraordinary.
