These photos came from that adage about less being more. I wondered how striking could photographs be, with as little in them as possible.

I’m still astonished by the results and they’re still some of the favourite photos I’ve taken.

I knew there was only one guy who could pull it off and so I messaged Jon Hosking, a model who I’d worked with in Miami to see if he was in London.

Would be mind meeting me at an outdoor studio simply to stand against a white wall in some white clothes?

The photos have been scanned to an insane resolution and in large print they look astonishing.

And all they are is a bloke in some white clothes against a white wall in the sunshine.
