Meet the latest OKES cover stars, Ryk and Mauritz du Preez. Ryk is wearing the straw hat (below) and his brother Mauritz in the brown cargo pants.

Meet the twins…

Ryk and Mauritz are originally from the Eastern Cape in South Africa and have lived by the sea since they were young. It was only natural we visited one of the most beautiful beaches in Cape Town for this OKES shoot. Mauritz was born two minutes before Ryk, although Ryk insists he should have come first. They admit they're pretty competitive.

Mauritz has enjoyed sport from a young age but Ryk was more into the arts. While Mauritz played rugby (at the same school as South Africa's springbok captain Siya Kolisi, who they knew at the time) Ryk was more interested in drawing and listening to music.

Their route into the modelling industry was when they were spotted whilst out with their older brother who was also a model at the time and as they say, the rest is history.

Ryk studied architecture and Mauritz wants to be a builder but they have put their careers on hold to see where the path in front of the camera takes them.

The pair have their eye on modelling in Europe but both admit they would rather be off sailing because of their love of the sea.
